Recently, the Information Center of Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital sent a formal letter of appreciation to Shanghai Information2 Software Inc., expressing sincere gratitude to the Info2soft team for their strong support, professional expertise, and close collaboration in the successful delivery of the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Disaster Recovery Project.
As hospital digitalization continues to deepen and national EMR rating requirements become increasingly stringent, the hospital’s original IT architecture faced multiple challenges in disaster recovery and business continuity. In response, the Info2soft team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the hospital’s environment and requirements, and designed an integrated disaster recovery solution centered on i2Active database active-active synchronization, i2Availability high-availability disaster recovery, and CDP (Continuous Data Protection). This solution effectively supported the hospital’s Level 7 EMR evaluation requirements and enabled the establishment of a cross-campus, geographically distributed disaster recovery architecture.
Throughout the project lifecycle, the Info2soft team demonstrated strong technical capabilities and a highly responsible approach, ensuring the smooth execution of all phases—from system deployment and configuration to testing and disaster recovery drills. Through close coordination with all stakeholders, the team ensured that the project progressed efficiently and that all technical and operational requirements were met on schedule.
As a result of the project, Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital successfully achieved minute-level seamless failover and failback for core databases—including HIS, mobile nursing, and HRP systems—during the migration from IBM minicomputer platforms to x86-based architectures. During drills, all critical systems achieved zero data loss and uninterrupted business operations, significantly enhancing the resilience, reliability, and operational efficiency of the hospital’s information systems.
The project not only fulfilled the hospital’s current disaster recovery and business continuity requirements, but also laid a solid foundation for future initiatives in smart hospital development and secure, sustainable IT operations.
