Customer: China Financial Futures Exchange
Country: China
Industry: Financial Service
Solution: i2Share
China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) is a key infrastructure institution in China’s financial derivatives market. As the organization grew, its office automation, workflow approval, and project management systems each maintained document storage independently, resulting in a fragmented architecture where data and business logic were tightly coupled.
This structure made it difficult to share documents across systems and departments. CFFEX needed a unified document collaboration platform that could decouple data from individual business systems, streamline document workflows, and support centralized management and analysis of public, departmental, and personal documents.
Customer Challenges
- Legacy systems — including OA, workflow approval, and project management platforms — each handled large volumes of office documents and attachments independently, with no shared document layer
- Cross-system document circulation, revision, and review processes were highly complex due to backend fragmentation between systems
- Departments and teams lacked efficient tools for collaborative editing, revision tracking, review, and change notifications on shared documents
- No unified structure existed for organizing public, departmental, and personal documents, making centralized data analysis and AI-based processing difficult
Solution
- Deployed a customized private document platform built on Info2soft‘s cloud storage framework, providing online preview, online editing, collaborative sharing, permission management, version control, and document retrieval
- Implemented containerized deployment and management of backend services to support flexible scaling and integration with online editing systems
- Provided a unified backend interface and API layer so front-end components across different business systems could call shared document services consistently
- Integrated the platform with existing systems — including the user identity center and instant messaging — to connect data and business processes across the organization
Results
- Established a private platform with front-end components and system-level service interfaces, resolving the earlier problem of fragmented, siloed data across systems
- Improved cross-system information sharing and interoperability between departments and applications
- Simplified document management through centralized storage, version control, and permission handling
- Supported more efficient collaborative workflows for document editing, review, and approval
- Advanced the organization’s broader digital transformation by establishing a consistent document infrastructure across systems
