On April 28, at the third batch of Shanghai Innovative Enterprise Headquarters award ceremony, Information2 was officially granted the title of “Shanghai Innovative Enterprise Headquarters”. Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng attended the ceremony and presented the plaque, which was received on behalf of the company by Chairman and CEO Justin Hu.
The awarded enterprises span key emerging strategic industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy. They are recognized as industry leaders and technology innovators, characterized by rapid growth, high innovation capabilities, and strong development momentum.
During the ceremony, Executive Vice Mayor Wu Wei announced the list of the third batch of innovative enterprise headquarters. Information2 officially became one of 44 innovative enterprise headquarters in Shanghai, marking an authoritative recognition of the company’s technological innovation, industrial value, and growth potential, and signifying a new stage of development.
In the era of digital economy, system “availability” is no longer the sole standard; “recoverability” is emerging as a critical baseline capability. Data interruptions can pose serious business risks, making recovery capability a core component of critical infrastructure.
Information2, guided by its “Data Resilience Foundation” strategy, has built a multi-tiered, independently controllable data protection technology capability. Throughout its evolution, the company has continuously overcome key technical challenges including cross-platform compatibility, complex business consistency, and high-performance real-time synchronization. This enables full-chain assurance—from data replication to business continuity—providing highly reliable support for critical business systems.
Chairman Justin Hu said:
“Information2 remains committed to an independent R&D approach. We believe that competition in data infrastructure software ultimately comes down to sustained technological innovation and engineering implementation capabilities. Being recognized as a Shanghai Innovative Enterprise Headquarters validates our ongoing innovation efforts. Going forward, we will continue to increase R&D investment, strengthen our Data Resilience Foundation, and provide stable, reliable data infrastructure support across broader industrial and global scenarios.”
The value of technological innovation is ultimately verified through large-scale application. In 2025, Information2 successfully implemented over 1,000 industry projects, delivering high-complexity solutions across finance, government, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
In flagship client scenarios—including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Guotai Haitong Securities, Central Clearing Company, China Southern Power Grid, Guangdong Medical Insurance Bureau, and Xi’an Jiaotong University—the company’s technology has withstood continuous testing in core business systems, high-concurrency environments, and cross-regional architectures, further solidifying its technical leadership in critical industry data infrastructure.
Looking ahead, Information2 is expanding its capabilities in areas such as cross-border data compliance, AI-driven intelligent operations, and risk prediction, driving the evolution of data infrastructure toward more intelligent, autonomous, and resilient systems:
From being recognized as an innovative enterprise headquarters to continuously advancing core data resilience technologies, Information2 is evolving from a “traditional disaster recovery solution provider” to a “builder of resilient critical infrastructure.”
Against the backdrop of Shanghai’s accelerated development as an international science and technology innovation center, companies with independently controllable core technologies that support the digital economy are becoming critical pillars. Information2 will take this recognition as a new starting point to further strengthen its technological leadership, accelerate global expansion, and continue building long-term competitiveness in data security and business continuity.
