China Mobile Reading Base operates two production and backup data centers in Hangzhou (Sandun and Binjiang), managing a massive content library with over 4 billion TB of data (as of November 2017) and 2 billion files, with more than 10GB of daily data growth. The challenge was to replicate content library files in real time from the Sandun production center to the Binjiang backup center without interrupting live reading services, while also supporting elastic expansion and disaster recovery drills.

Info2soft deployed real-time incremental replication to replicate data files to backup NAS storage.

Data flow process:

• Application modifies data at the production center.
• Info2soft intercepts changes and transmits them to the backup site.
• Data is stored in real time at the backup data center.
• Replication supported heterogeneous storage without requiring downtime during deployment, ensuring dynamic and seamless synchronization.
