Pre-Sale/Post-Sales Engineer

Location: Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing technical support to customers in Hong Kong and Macau (mainly pre-sales responsibilities, with some post-sales duties), analyzing, organizing, and identifying potential opportunities in customer’s infrastructure, and serving as the end-to-end technical contact point for I2 software on the customer side, based in Hong Kong.
2. For potential opportunities, responsible for explaining I2 software-related solutions, delivering demonstrations, conducting POC, writing technical proposals, preparing & answering RFP documents;
3. Implementing solutions at the customer site when necessary;
4. Cooperating with the sales team to achieve performance targets.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science-related fields;
2. Based in Hong Kong, with fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English for communication;
3. Familiarity with basic principles of business continuity (disaster recovery, backup);
4. Familiarity with mainstream disaster recovery and backup software (such as NBU, Veeam);
5. Extensive pre-sales project experience with a relevant work background;
6. Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, and outstanding service awareness;
7. Familiarity with basic principles of mainstream operating systems such as Linux and Windows, have strong hands-on experiences on these platforms;
8. Familiarity with mainstream databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.);
9. Understanding of cloud platforms (VMware, VCF, FusionCompute, HCS, etc.) and big data platforms (CDP, FusionInsight, HDFS, Hive), including basic concepts and core components, and know how.
10. Strong hands-on skills in Linux, Windows, mainstream database and cloud platforms;
11. Preference for candidates with certifications in databases, operating systems, virtualization, or cloud platforms, and those with local work experience in Hong Kong.
