Inoherb’s IT architecture relies on multiple physical servers supporting ERP, WMS, OA, and other core systems. The company initially used RAID and replication-based backup methods, which provided only basic protection and could not defend against ransomware, misoperations, or data logic errors. Furthermore, legacy methods lacked effective recovery capabilities in the event of major system failures, exposing the company to potential service interruptions and business losses.

• Traditional RAID and replica-based backup could not prevent ransomware propagation or accidental data deletion.
• No effective or fast recovery options in case of local IT system outages.

I2 Solution

• Stage 1 – Local Backup: Deployed i2Box backup appliance on-premises for scheduled file backups and CDP (Continuous Data Protection) of databases. Provided agentless whole-VM backup and ensured complete recovery after VM failures.
• Stage 2 – Remote Backup: Installed an additional i2Box backup appliance at a remote site for CDP-based replication of local backup data, ensuring a second layer of data protection.
• Stage 3 – Remote Disaster Recovery: Implemented i2Box DR appliance at the remote site. In case of primary data center failure, workloads could be quickly taken over by the remote site.
