The center operates multiple critical systems on VMware, including smart reminders, Wanda applications, and Convenient Healthcare 2.0. To meet national localization requirements, these systems needed to migrate to Tianyi Cloud with minimal impact on operations. Additionally, the center’s Oracle RAC database (≈20TB) powering the Wanda application required a smooth upgrade due to version compatibility issues while ensuring disaster recovery.

Cloud Migration: Adopted hot migration mode to Tianyi Cloud without changing the existing architecture. A scheduled cutover window was used to pause business systems, ensuring no incremental data was generated during final switchover.
Database Upgrade Process:
- Conducted full database information survey and planning.
- Replicated local Oracle RAC to Tianyi Cloud.
- Performed pre-switch testing by pointing applications to the cloud database for verification.
- After validation, reverted applications back to the local database.
- Carried out local RAC upgrade with rollback protection.
- Disaster Recovery: Finalized cloud RAC as a disaster recovery database, maintaining synchronization with production for ongoing protection.
